Cataloging of the avifauna of the Gamelinha Linear Park, São Paulo (SP) Brazil

Abstract

Gamelinha Linear Park, at the east side of São Paulo, is the home of several species of plants and birds with spaces for sports. Method: Through the installation of three trays with attractive; observations were made by the 12-month period. Results: It was observed 17 species of birds; 14 wild and 3 exotics. Discussion: We emphasize the importance of these spaces as safe havens for birds, important in urban pest control and consequent improvement in quality of life.
