This paper examines the importance of the use of the educational software Geogebra in class as a tool to facilitate the teaching and learning process of Mathematics. To this end, it presents a recent qualitative and quantitative study that demonstrates the efficacy of this software. However, this paper focuses only on the quantitative aspects of this study after the gathering of data from the use of this software in class. This paper confirms the research of scholars concerning the use Information and Communication Technologies in the classroom (ICTs). This matter is also evident to the extent that it upholds modern teaching approaches, specially the Constructivist approach of Seymor Papert, which confirms the idea that students construct their knowledge though the use of facilitating tools such as the computer.
